Spring Sports Email Update - Sent from Athletic Director to Registered Families
The following was an email sent to all families of spring athletes that were regsitered by April 21st.

Good Evening, GHS Spring Sports Athletes/Families,
A few quick topics to make you aware of as we approach the start of the Spring Season.

Phone App Option
There is also the phone app that links to this.  In your App Store look up the "Activity Scheduler" app and download that.  The image of the App is a blue baseball hat with the letters "rST" on it.

Spring Sports Apparel Stores (open till 11:59pm on Wednesday April 28th)

The Spring Sports Apparel Store is now open for the next 7 days.  Purchasing items does support the Athletic Department, but is not required.

Individual Sport Parent/Athlete Meetings
Over the next few days the Varsity Head Coaches will be conducting the preseason Coaches meeting held for parents/student-athletes.  These are held to provide all information possible about the individual sport and answer any questions up front.  Coaches will send virtual meeting links to all families registered through FamilyID.  If you don't hear from the Coach soon, please email them using the below email addresses.
Spring Sports Registration Closing Friday 4/23
To participate on Monday 4/26, Student-Athletes must be registered on FamilyID, have an up to date physical exam (w/in 13 months), completed the concussion course at some point this school year.
User fees are due by Wed 4/28
Important Dates:
Friday 4/23 11:59pm - Spring Sports Registration Closes
Monday 4/26 - 1st day of practices/tryouts
Wednesday 4/28 11:59pm - Online apparel store closes
Wednesday 6/15 - Last official day of Spring Sports regular season (varsity teams may still play in State tournament after 6/15)
Key Points for All Sports to Remember During COVID Times
- Masks must be worn entering facilities, during workouts, and leaving facilities
- All athletes should arrive dressed ready for practice (no locker rooms)
- Athletes should have a bag to keep all their items, including their own water bottle/fluids, extra masks to change throughout workouts, personal hand sanitizer, etc.)
- There will be no loitering around facilities before/after workouts.  Coaches will send time guidelines of when to arrive and be picked up.
- Coaches, athletes, & spectators must practice social distancing during all moments during practice & games whenever possible
- Every Coach & athlete will complete a COVID screening & temperature check prior to all practices/games/bus trips.  Screenings will be done via QR code located at facilities and with coaches.
- Prior to your athlete's first competition, the Athletic Director will send any spectator details out via email
